The owner Jac Volbeda is an artist/landscape painter who moved over from Holland to Baleshare in 2003. Bagh Alluin is situated on top of a hillock and guarantees panoramic views to all directions.
Eaval, Ben Mhor, Hekla and the Monach Isles with it's lighthouse and the uninhabited Isle of Kirkibost can be seen from it's windows.

Bagh Alluin provides a comfortable base to come home to after days spent walking, fishing, bird watching, soaking up the scenery or having enjoyed the artwork of the many artists that have the Uists as their home. We have a twin room en-suite and a double room en-suite available.
