Buness is 16th century listed old family house on Britain's northernmost island with four comfortable bedrooms (ensuite or own bathrooms) overlooking the sea, a restful drawing room, a sea-facing conservatory from which, in the wonderful light of long summer evenings, you can watch birds, seals and sometimes otters while you dine on local sea and land produce. Set in unspoilt, accessible countryside, it is a relaxing haven by the sea for those with a love of the outdoor life.

Dale cottage is set amid pasture fields 400 yards from the sea with a panoramic view over the bay at Baltasound on Britain's most northerly island of Unst. Sleeps 4 to 6 with a large sitting room and well appointed kitchen. There are two National Nature Reserves nearby, and Unst provides scenic walks with splendid beaches, cliffs and moors and much of historic, botanical, cultural, geological and archaeological interest to be seen: also two museums and a liesure centre with indoor pool.
