A stunning country house, built in 1806, and now available for self-catering for up to 12. The house is on the edge of the beautiful and historic village of Falkland, central Fife, and sits in an acre of walled garden and is surrounded by hundreds of acres of farmland. The house comprises: 6 stunning bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a kitchen/diner with AGA, a light and airy conservatory, a warm and elegant drawing room, and a dining room with seating for 12. All bedrooms are supremely comfortable, with electric blankets, Sealy Posturepedic beds, full central heating, and furnished with crisp white linen and towels. The house was previously owned by Frances Shand Kydd, and has been visited by Diana, and her sons, the Princes William and Harry.
