Our comfortable, friendly bed and breakfast is in a beautiful location on the Shoreside of Lochalsh. Freesat, dvd, coffee machines in all rooms. Sit at breakfast and watch the wildlife - oyster catchers, heron, wading birds. If you are really lucky you may get to spot an otter! It is in an ideal location to explore Plockton, Dornie and the Eilean Donan Castle, Skye and Lochalsh. All rooms have ensuite showers.

Shepherd’s Cottage is an original croft cottage modernised to the highest standards and has been described as really beautiful by many guests. The double (king size) “Isle of Skye” room and twin “Eilean Donan Castle” room are spacious, very comfortable and have well appointed en suite shower rooms. Breakfast is taken in the sun lounge / guest sitting room with picturesque views down the glen. There is a choice of Continental, light or full Scottish breakfasts as you wish. WiFi is also available on request.
Shepherd’s cottage (former bothy) is also where Brenda Macrow, the well known Highland travel writer of the 1940’s, actually stayed whilst writing her book “Kintail Scrapbook”.
